1. Is there a real need for your services?
Business training, consultancy and coaching is big business. There are over 4 million SME companies in the UK with over 300,000 new companies incorporated each year.
Not only is the potential market huge but within this market there is a great need for practical business support services. 20% of businesses fail in the first year and 50% in the first three years. If that isn't proof enough that help is required then I don't know what is.
Most of the SME's in the UK are operated by people who have little or no knowledge of sales & marketing, and many have no previous experience of running a business. Even experienced owners and managers are often overwhelmed with daily activity and "can't see the wood for the trees". Consequently there's huge demand for expert and proven business support, particularly in the area of sales growth… an area we both specialise and excel in.
2. How hard is it to get Clients? And do I have to get them for myself?
As a Business Booster Coach, part of your role will be to manage the sales and marketing processes for your region (although we will have Head Office taking care of centralized functions such as website maintenance, press releases, etc). A strong background in sales is a significant advantage for this role, although experience of achieving challenging business goals (e.g. financial targets, budgets etc.) could equally demonstrate you have what it takes.
We have put in place a world class sales and marketing process designed by experts. All you have to do is follow the process. The process is simple, but will involve effort on your behalf, for example you will have to network and get to know other local businesses in your area. Remember, there are well over 4 million SME businesses the UK with more than 300,000 being added every year. That's plenty of potential clients!
3. What's the competition like?
Well there's no denying that there are quite a number of companies and "one man bands" offering business training, consultancy or coaching in one form or another. However, if you look at the market closely you will quickly realise a number of things:
- There is no market leader or even a recognised name in this market.
- Most of the competitors offer general "business consultancy" with vague benefits
- Very few (we found one!) offer any guarantee whatsoever against the work they do
- None of them appear to have solid proven methods for gaining and retaining clients
The result is that by working with Business Booster, a professional, service oriented company that specialises in this field and has a unique sales and marketing approach, any franchisee has the ability to easily win business over any competition.
There are only a small handful of people who can successfully take a business and actively create noticeable sales growth. And no-one does it like us.
4. What type of person is perfect for this business?
If you meet the criteria described and are successful in being selected then the answer is yes. Success is dependant upon effort on your part and that is the ingredient that is hard for any recruitment process to evaluate.
We will be monitoring the performance of the network in total and if you need help then we will provide it. We have tried to point out positive points and potential pitfalls on this web site (and in our Prospectus) and attempted to create a realistic picture of how things will operate.
We are very selective about the people we take on board. Why? Because our success is directly related to your success. Therefore we can't afford to accept just anyone.
Don't forget that our network structure only has limited places and we are seeking the best people for each one. We know exactly what we're looking for (please also see the list in the section titled, 'Who Is This Perfect For? A Typical Franchisee, And Franchisee Profile') and would not select anyone that did not match our profile.
Well you can if you wish but let's look at what you will need and what we provide if you join us as one of our coaches.
You'll need to be very confident that you know how to get leads and how to convert those leads into paying customers. We've been doing this for years so we know what works and what doesn't. You could waste a huge amount of time and money finding out. We also have central lead generation which you can benefit from as a franchisee.
Once you have a client then you need to have the necessary knowledge and processes to give the client tangible results. We have these in abundance and we have the testimonials to prove we make a real difference. Even if you have previous sales and management experience, do you really have a system for massively boosting a company's profits? We do and we can teach you!
Do you have credibility as an individual or will this take time to build? By being a Business Booster coach we add to your credibility from day one which makes gaining business much easier.
And finally what about administration? As an independent you will either have to employ someone or spend a huge amount of your valuable time preparing invoices or chasing money instead of earning it! As a Business Booster franchisee our central support provides most of your secretarial and administration needs as part of the on-going support. Even if you charge yourself out at only £500 a day, this alone would be worth between £1000 and £2000 a month!
6. Can I really earn a substantial six figure salary?
Yes you can. It may sound hard to believe, but we've structured our business very carefully to ensure everyone is properly rewarded.
This income is based on only getting 8 people on one of our Booster Courses every month and we know exactly how to achieve this. We also know from experience that this will translate into at least 2 one-to-one coaching sessions per quarter.
But don't for one minute think that it's going to be easy. You still have to earn your money! You do have to put the effort in, but because our systems are so detailed and straightforward you work smarter – not harder.
7. What support structure do you have in place?
We believe that the support structure of any Franchise organisation is one of the most important aspects of running a successful Franchise.
You have to know that you'll never be left alone 'to get on with it'. Of course our training is so detailed you won't need constant supervision, but you will need help from time to time.
That's why we have a structure in place that ensures your success...
We have a fantastic centralised back office support function dedicated to you which not only manages quotes, invoices and chases payments on your behalf, but it will also act as your secretary, taking calls and helping organise events.
On top of this you have access to Ben and his team for general support enquiries.
And finally, you also have the assistance of The Franchise Doctors team who are there to help you be successful.

8. How do your training and systems compare to other Franchise organisations?

We don't accept everyone as Franchisees, but those that qualify already have the basic skills – we just give them the tools of our trade!
9. How much is the Franchise fee?
The Franchise fee is reviewed after every training course. At the moment it's just £24,977 +VAT for Business Booster Coaches.
10. What does the Franchise fee include?
The fee includes an exclusive business territory, an initial week long residential training course, licence to trade under our name, access to all of our manuals and materials, a marketing launch package, and entitles you to all future support. More details are included in our Prospectus.
11. Do I have to pay a monthly management fee?
Once you have paid an initial fee you don't pay any other fees until you have paying customers. There is no fixed fee! All ongoing payments you make to us are based on the success of your business. If you don't earn a penny (not that this will happen!), then neither do we!
The on-going charges are based on a revenue sharing scheme. You retain 80% of gross revenue with the remainder going towards an amazing support package, all of which is described in our Prospectus.
12. How long does it take to get back my Franchise fee?
Unlike many other Franchise opportunities we've set the fee at a level where we know 99% of our people will have earned well over the initial fee within their first year.
13. What are the typical working hours/week?
From our experience you should not need to work more than 50 hours a week.
14. What is the guarantee that my business will be successful?
We guarantee you will earn your Franchise fee back within the first 12 months or we will take back the franchise and pay you the difference.
We're so convinced that you will earn at least your Franchise fee back (before tax) within the first 12 months, if not well before, that if you don't we will take back the franchise and pay you the difference (excluding losses, which frankly is inconceivable). You can simply walk away. No ifs. No buts. No questions asked.
15. Where would my Clients be located?
As close to your home as possible! We aim to offer territories that surround each Coach's home... if not then as close as possible. This means that every client is likely to be within about 50 miles! Obviously this means that you spend more time gaining new and managing existing clients and less time driving around.
16. How can I expand my business?
Over a few years you will add more and more clients to your portfolio and increase your reputation. This will ultimately add to your turnover and profits and lead to substantial earnings without the need to expand into offices or employ staff. It's one of the big advantages of a Business Booster Coaching franchise!
However, for those that "make the grade" there's the opportunity to become a Business Booster Partner franchisee. Partner franchisees must firstly prove themselves as successful Business Booster Coaches by gaining a number of positive testimonials from one-to-one coaching clients. Once you have achieved this you may, if you wish, buy into the Partner level which allows you to run the Business Booster™ 'Main Event's for yourself and 4 other Coaches, "boosting" your profits even further.
17. What if I am still in employment and have to serve notice?
Not a problem, if we mutually agree that you are right for the role, we will reserve the territory you want, once you have signed the agreement and paid a deposit of £5,000 plus VAT.
